Ronnie Coleman Yeah Buddy

Ronnie Coleman Yeah Buddy Pre Workout Review

Ronnie Coleman came out with a stimulant loaded pre workout – Yeah Buddy! So how does it stack up?

Before reviewing Yeah Buddy, we knew that this was going to be a strong pre workout. For starters, it’s backed by the big man, Ronnie Coleman himself.

But besides that, one glance at the label and you see 420 mg caffeine for starters. From there, the stimulant list goes on!

So, here we are going to share with you our experience taking Ronnie Coleman’s Yeah Buddy – the pre workout designed to put fire in your eyes.

Warning: This is a hardcore pre workout not intended for the caffeine intolerant!

RC Yeah Buddy Experience

Taking Yeah Buddy is energy packed, to say the least.

When we took our first scoop, we noticed a pleasant tasting pre workout (electric lemonade) that kind of reminded us of the first time Cellucor made the pineapple flavor for C4. Back then, it was a massively big deal, and was probably the BEST tasting pre workout available.

About 10 minutes into taking Ronnie Coleman Yeah Buddy, we noticed the beta-alanine tingles as one would expect.

But as time went on, the energy doubled, then doubled, and then doubled again!

It wasn’t quite as crazy as finaflex stimul8 by any means… Which is one of the wildest products we’ve ever taken (and won’t take again). But it was up there!

Upon arriving at the gym, Yeah Buddy had us in the zone. There is absolutely no denying that.

For literally 4 hours, Yeah Buddy’s blend of instant caffeine and time released caffeine had us grinding hard to the wire. We attribute this also to the Theacrine, choline, Agmass, and synephrine as well to name a few!

The best way to describe lifting while taking Ronnie Coleman’s Yeah Buddy pre workout is that it gives you stimulant strength. This is much different than creatine strength or pump… Its more of a nerve feeling thing. Its like, you can squeeze your muscles harder and push them longer just based on your mental power alone.

Unlike how creatine can make it feel easy, or the pump makes it feel pleasurable with strange, strange recovery between reps.

Despite how awesome this experience was, it is worth noting that this pre workout isn’t for everyone. And hey, that makes sense considering it was made for a beast like Coleman himself.

Yeah Buddy is for the experienced pre workout drinker who has built an understanding and tolerance of stimulants. Only these people are going to be able to make the most out of Yeah Buddy.

Take some kid off the street who gets jittery off of red bull and hand him a scoop of Yeah Buddy, and that kid is going to have a VERY BAD experience!

RC Yeah Buddy Ingredient Breakdown

Yeah Buddy Pre Workout Ingredients

Beta Alanine (Carnosyn) 2 g

Ronnie Coleman’s pre workout contains 2 grams of beta-alanine per serving. This is enough to feel the tingles, but may not be enough to improve muscular endurance according to all the research we did in our beta-alanine supplements guide. Despite this… Yeah Buddy is a pure bread stimulant pre workout, so this and l-citrulline below are really just icing on the stimulant cake.

L-citrulline 1 g

As you would guess, 1 gram of citrulline really isn’t going to do a whole lot. Personally, we’ve grown to love a full 6 gram dosage of citrulline malate like we talk about in our citrulline vs citrulline malate review.

Agmatine Sulfate (AGMASS) 500 mg

Agmatine is a metabolite of arginine. With that, the fitness industry has suggested agmatine raises nitric oxide levels. However, research suggests that it does the opposite.

However, it does have a volumizing property (hydration, not nitric oxide), as well as a CNS stimulation. Meaning, it may be good for muscle fullness and exerting extra effort.

Choline Bitartrate 550 mg

Choline is an awesome for waking up the brain, improving focus, and getting those neurotransmitters going. Some studies have even suggested Choline to strengthen muscular contractions.

Theacrine (TeaCrine) 50 mg

Theacrine is a new stimulant that still has a lot of research needed to unravel its full validity. But, in the mean time we know that at large doses it can act as a stimulant, and, goes well with other stimulants.

Extended Release Caffeine Matrix 420 mg

[Caffeine anhydrous and PharmaSure Time Released Caffeine]

This is the caffeine cocktail that starts off Yeah Buddy’s ferocity.

Yeah Buddy Bomb Matrix 82.5 mg

[Synephrine HCL, Higenamine HCL, Beta Phenethylamine HCL, Adhatoda Visica Extract, Yohimbine HCL]

We love synephrine, and as a whole this blend of extra stimulants is pretty awesome. The only questionable thing is the inclusion of yohimbe on top of all the caffeine in here already. That, may be overkill for some people, as well as the cause of side effects.

RC Yeah Buddy Gains

In Yeah Buddy, you’re not going to find any ingredients that will significantly lead to muscle growth.

Instead, Yeah Buddy is designed to improve the experience of lifting and push you harder. With that extra effort, you’re going to have added muscle breakdown which will re-build stronger. That’s the only way this type of pre workout will help you build muscle.

Conclusion on RC Yeah Buddy – Who’s It For?

As you can tell, Yeah Buddy was designed for the hardcore lifters who know what they are in for with a high stimulant pre workout.

If you are unsure what that means, this pre workout isn’t for you. If you’ve never taken 300+ mg caffeine and liked it, this pre workout isn’t for you.

But, if you’ve gone your hardest after taking pre workouts with 300+ mg of caffeine…

If you crave uncontrollable energy…

Then Yeah Buddy may be your ticket to new PR’s and sharing an experience with Ronnie Coleman himself.
